Changed Ways

< PREVIOUS: Older “Computers”

I started programming again back in 2013 after flunking out in university in 2009.

I went back to school in 2017 at my local college part time.

The year is 2023 and I am doing the last course in the 2-year program.

I learned that I wasn’t a real programmer at first when I tried computer science in 2009.

From the years 2009 to 2013, I did not believe I was the programmer type.

From 2017 to 2021, there were times where I wanted to quit college studying programming.

In 2023, I realized that I have matured with all my experiences and now the mature and logical way is to keep educating myself in this programming field.

I used to just learn programming my way doing projects I just liked.

After doing everything I want, I learned the next valuable step is integrating many technologies like in web development which is:

  • Front end
  • Back end
  • Database

The most important thing I have learned is to just chill and listen to my surroundings wherever I go. Just take a step back and appreciate what is going on, absorb everything and then proceed to work. No need to be so proactive.

If you take the chill approach then you can learn lots and work with people.
