Why do most Vietnamese in the North look Chinese?

According to Son Nguyen (Erikson), Vietnamese are Chinese who went over the border.

This has been happening for 1000s of years.

When I was in practical nursing school, as a full South Vietnamese born in Canada, I got mainly along with the Chinese realistically.

But I am full South Vietnamese from my parents!

400-500 years ago Funan was there, North Vietnamese took over Eastern part of Funan.

For some reason, Chinese from the North trickled down into Vietnam …

Why?

They became Vietnamese but look very similar to Chinese still.

Did the Chinese trickling down into Vietnam know something normal regular Chinese don’t know?

Are they trying to takeover?

Are they trying to harness the Deltas?

Is life too hard in China that they rather work the tropical farms?

What is the motive?

What are the motives?

What is the draw to come down there and subsequently become Vietnamese at the end?

Do they want to become farmers and drink and party with the locals at the end? 🙂
