EXPANDED

99.9999% of Vietnamese currently in Vietnam understand my blog.

The 2nd Generation Vietnamese born in the West have trouble as they face 3 problems.

  1. They are born in the West and think they are Western?
  2. They look Vietnamese.
  3. They aren’t really Western if they are born in North America or Australia, they are First Peoples who are independent folk just trying to live in the modern hard world.

To get a handle on life and always have upward trajectory is this:

  1. Work at your local supermarket full time not during school to see how you are either needed or discarded. Finish high school or take a gap year to see how hard it is to eat.
  2. Go to Vietnam and teach at an English school where your parents were born in Vietnam. The city where the hospital is that birthed your parents. See the expectation of the students, staff and teachers.

Psychology behind all this:

I think there are a few way to interpret life as a 2nd gen Vietnamese born in Canada

  1. Other 2nd generation Vietnamese want connection and stability with each other once you found other who are compatible. 2nd generation want to play and work together if they can. They build platforms and businesses to support each other as they are a new group of people in the West.
  2. Parents – they see growth and you trying to find closure and understanding
  3. Canadians – they see this as trying to find your way like the 100s of other immigrants in the past. You are here to make things move and make $$$.
  4. Rest of the World – Not sure as there are too many variables as now you are Vietnamese born in First Peoples of North America. Just living, growing and having a family they say.

But what do you really expect of 2nd Generation Vietnamese born in Canada?

That is the biggest question I have.

According to Chatbots, 2nd gen marry other 2nd gen usually as they experience the same problems and history and share the same culture.

So that means 2nd generation if similar enough should have seen each other and built together early on.

But I don’t know about 2nd gen Vietnamese in numbers that want to build as usually the Western culture expects them to grow fast and assimilate.

But here you have it, William Nguyen and his brother David did something pretty different in 2020 with BenchTweakGaming.com and the team grew and now we have software and these websites.

But what do you really expect 2nd generation of anything to do?

  1. They are First Peoples
  2. They are 60% origin country at birth when they interact
  3. But they are First Peoples first.

So don’t give them a hard time.

Did you get to the end???

But you are here for the real truth. It is 3 ways I think or maybe just one depending how you see life:

  • In 2007, I got the chance to work in pharmacy. It is just being careful and to lend an ear while deep inside you are ‘high’ medical professional that has it all and security. You just dispense good ways of living.
  • In 2019, I tried nursing. In practical nursing, you just tell people to get better and learn from their mistakes always learning and elevated. You are in a position to tell and help. You are next in authority (doctors/MD) to tell people how to live.
  • Then there is food services and somewhat retail. Working 16 hours a day in food is probably the most hard and good feeling always busy and eating. Always around people and learning and growing serving people.

Each of these jobs have big ego. Ego is everything really in the West.

Medicine or owning your own business is the takeaway from this final section.

In other words, these ways are the basic way for ego to dispense wisdom and vent and teach.

But do you see what I am doing with my brother and team?

We are teaching and venting through this blog and our works.

Produce and teach. This is another form.
