What happened?

In 2019, I was working fast food.

The young guy working the shift who is now an adult who is ‘Canadian’ asked me … “What up?”

This guy was going into engineering school.

I was a 35 years old working fast food to pay bills.

…

I told him I was exploring and finding my way … just getting experiences here in slowly in safe, supportive, Canada. Enjoying food, money and people???

He told me to ‘go’.

…

I was unsure because I don’t have the things he has but I understood.
