AMERICAN TRIANGLE

  1. Working to pay the bills.
  2. Meet the nice Oshawian Canadian man.
  3. In fast food we understand, as coloured folk we understand and we go with what we got. But in Western North American fast food work, lessons and guidance hits like a semi.

What happened? This scenario made a difference here in Oshawa for new kids …

In 2019, I was working fast food.

The young guy working the shift who is now turned an adult, ‘Canadian’, asked me … “What’s up?”

This guy was going into engineering school.

I was a 35 years old working fast food to pay bills.

I told him I was exploring and finding my way … just getting experiences here in slowly in safe, supportive CANADA. Enjoying food, money and people ???

He told me to ‘go’.

I was unsure because I don’t have the things he has, but I understood.

Now 2019 to 2026 …

Now things are what it is …
