Updates (June 11, 2026) Part 5
Life of a 2nd Generation Vietnamese born in Canada.
In the first 40 years I was snot.
Now if I leave my post, not many people will take over my post.
…
Therefore you are a part of society now, you are a part of the world.
…
And all it took was to do your passions for about 10 years, reconnect with your origin community (Vietnamese from Vietnam and Vietnamese-Canadians in GTA) … keep socializing with that one person that understands you and makes you feel like loose pebbles so you got to hold on. Tons of work to be done from now and the future. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Sleep enough. Life in the First World is an adventure.
That special person is always telling you there is more to this life … mainly to stop backing up, stop recessing and maintain happiness in the West as you two are born here.
Living life externally is all it is? Yes, if you are seen as the worst dalit and monkey in the eyes of the World.
Eventually, your work and life become a part of society if you keep playing.
The teams work has become more than us. It has become educational software for the world. We are providing an essential service I think in terms of creativity and enjoyment for computer users ???
Now we go people recognizing our efforts as they understand collaboration and good genuine relationships.
Also it is a part of getting old and past yourself, time to lock it in and help. Help the next generation.
…
The biggest problem I saw before is that no one understood the ‘dalit’ position like 2nd Generation Vietnamese born in Canada. We are scapegoats but it ain’t no fun. You can help and tear it down piece by piece but only people living it understand what a burden it is to be labelled it and live it.
Vietnamese from Vietnam don’t understand. Immigrant parents don’t understand. Immigrants compare everything until you ask them what is going on … and they say never have they seen dalit people work and try so hard. They get upset that the world is different in Americas as their opinion is overridden by whiter people. It is still an opinion worth considering but not when there are people in the North Atlantic provinces are studying AI and making huge contributions to science and technology.
