Updates (June 10, 2026) Part 3
So 3 things I learned about life after my dad went on vacation and then came back.
- Life is just crap everyday. Same crap in and out. Just acknowledge the hate and crap shoveled daily every minute.
- You were supposed to live in the range. You were supposed to live bleak and miserable as a 2nd gen and try your hardest out in life chasing the external until you get acknowledged.
- Starting a family and life is on the go really. I got accomplished somewhat there is still work to be done. Basically, just get a professional medical degree and go … Nursing taught me to live presently and give my life to God and others and hope for the best. Really it is good and healthy.
…
How to understand medicine.
Life is about taking care of people and understanding their psychology in life and in society.
People scapegoat me as a Vietnamese which I did not accept at full front face value for 42 years.
To live well in a society like that is to understand I must behave and change in a way that allows me to be made fun of for the entertainment value of my patients.
No one can be perfect in medicine.
I must behave and look a certain way so patients feel sorry at me seriously.
…
But it is hard as a 2nd generation to play this game as we are taught to stick up to ourselves so that is why many men do sports and try their best in life.
…
I have a flaw, I am Vietnamese by origin LOL! According to urban definition I got lots of problems.
Anyways, I have to accept the negativity in this society to progress and laugh at it and allow others to laugh at me as I am a guy.
…
Now onto medicine.
I finished my studies in computers and will go back to school in practical nursing to have a family.
Thank you everyone for helping me and listening.
Everyone needs to do their range and have a family and understand life is not perfect and not aim for perfection so that it takes up all your time stopping you from having a family and further more adventures.
…
My cousin around my age from Vietnam working at the Long Xuyen hospital as a nurse in 2015, clicked with me when I was 33 years old at that time. Old mature life …
Life, life, life … life is good. Save money by going home to your mother’s house for some homecooked food on lunch from work. And chat with mum, take care of mum. Drive back to work and you saved $3-4 enough for some new socks.
That is life. That is life in healthcare.
…
So hours of healthcare studies till 2 – 3 AM in the morning for life sounds good. Sounds good and healthy.
…
Life is to be treated poorly regardless of whoever you are.
