Updates (June 20, 2026) Part 2

So living in Long Xuyen, An Giang, Vietnam for 6 months or so … What is the feeling you get?

Well the city is divided many times.

Everyone at the end is forced to play and work with the main ethnic group: Vietnamese.

The dynamics of living in the city is different from living in the country side.

In the country side, we don’t deal with different personalities.

We farm and go home to our family.

In the city there is division.

The Chinese have businesses as in the beginning they come from China with no or little assets trying to make do in Vietnam working and selling.

Eventually they save enough for a lot in the city and sell goods and continue.

The constant arrival of Chinese to Vietnam create interactions of business and math.

You are dealing with 2 levels of thinking. One is attached to making the most of day in profits to acquire land and assets while Vietnamese are worried about the climate affecting their farms.

There is even dual pricing which makes me worried and work harder than everyone!

That is the problem. Chinese arrive to Vietnam and set a price to help their people arrive.

I realize I am stuck in Vietnam as an English teacher thinking to stay permanently … seeing cheaper prices for Chinese makes me work harder non-stop until my brain opens to the outer limits of the universe connected to the cosmos because of the unbelievable pressure 2 prices makes.

So that is why when I went back home to Vietnam in 2015 and taught English I went YOLO till now and have this type of designs in software.

So that is how Chinese make Vietnamese run.

Now do you want to become Vietnamese?

Chinese subsequently turn Vietnamese after 2 generations …

But as soon Chinese set foot in Vietnam they suddenly are Pro-Vietnamese LOL!

But it is so odd.

But the thing is that I am Vietnamese born in Canada supposedly (I am just a lazy Canadian who likes pizza too much really) so I got to be top notch (Oxford quality, Top 0.1%) or the kids in Vietnam will kick my ass. Poor or rich or Chinese or Vietnamese or Mixtures. They will laugh at me making me cry all night.

But I share …

At the end of the day we got to help the immigrants.

I can easily get a government job or healthcare job in Vietnam with what I got soon. Might go back to medicine soon … might finish my Practical Nursing diploma here in Canada and learning Vietnamese and French to repeat the cycle of my strong parents.

But because I was an English teacher I had to go full NOS turbocharged or lose my rep.

If I was retail sales worker different story too. Like selling cell phones.

Depends on skills job.

But I am old fart at 33 in 2015 so I had life experiences and merit so life isn’t full turbocharged running at 200 miles per hour like in uni.

So if pressure of 2 prices are in your daily expenditure, what do you do?

So what do the Chinese do?

Overtime, I stop caring … I turn more Vietnamese and also they too stop caring becoming more Vietnamese.
