Work: The “work” is beneficial and outweighs the stress and cons – Working now, I get to understand the other side of “work”. There are a lot of benefits working a job like this. I will write the pros and cons of doing web development now.

Pros:

  • You are learning bigger and bigger systems.
  • You could be creating new things never seen before.
  • This is what you basically do on top of your passions and hobbies and exploring. You learn about the wide expanse of life and use that to build new things of your interest.
  • The benefits of learn and growing in all ways outweighs just doing your previous job and previous life. At middle age you are trekking by yourself now.
  • No one can understand the path you are taking when you are older and finished school. You are now exploring the great expanse. You are venturing out learning and growing alone now. So you should enjoy it and take your time really to enjoy it. If you are rushing then you might get sick, frustrated and die early. When you have reached this point then you will know how to enjoy life in every minute. I realized this after working this job for 2 months.

Cons:

  • Nothing bad really at this point. You are now venturing learning the more and more bigger systems. For example, WordPress was created in 2003 and the ecosystem of it is the largest maybe as it covers 30% of the web. So mastering it should give you a great understanding of the Internet to utilize it and then work it in your favor. That is over 21+ years of WordPress development. You should start mastering that first.

Life: I went shopping to buy food to cook with – I went shopping at the biggest supermarket. As a 40 years old man, I look pretty healthy finally. The workers and customers do not know that I am 40 years old because I look younger. The workers live the “retail life” which I have done many times before. Some of the workers think that retail is just life and nothing more. I used to too … But at 40 years old there is no point acting young and accepting life is that and living the routine life. At 40 years old you are trekking life alone now. It is suffocating and detrimental to your health to live like a 20 years old. Your body and mind changes to seek out more and more truths. Philosophy and knowledge is in play now.

Life: Great I look mature and my face looks more intelligent finally – I sometimes still venture to Scarborough Town Center mall. People now don’t think I am a young guy no more. I get treated like an older adult now. It is good. People allow me to act like a older man now and leave me alone. I am now experienced and a bit more wiser so people now see that both internally and externally now. I can venture out anywhere now without young adults bothering me. No one questions me outside now.
