So this blog is good.
I was hesitant until I started posting everything including daily encounters with public and people.
If I did not do this blog, I would have nothing but my room and its four walls. Blogging enabled me to grow and face the world. Now I can go out in the world and face the world doing what I am doing. There is merit now.
Yes, people are scared of people in the Americas.
People don’t want to break stereotypes.
But when Vietnamese and the world are dancing to algorithms then you must do something.
…
What I realized about life doing stuff.
It is the men that get criticized.
The women sometimes get criticized.
But the man must keep proving himself???
…
But when the man is in North America, there are certain stereotypes people like to see. How old do you have to be to prevent those bad stereotypes?
…
The problem is that Vietnamese are new to North America and the West. What do people expect 50 years after the Vietnam War? Same stereotypes that could lead to total degeneracy as time passes?
At that point it is better to go back to Vietnam and sell bananas and work the fields. It is coming to that point.
…
I have a friend name Chien (David) Nguyen from North Vietnam.
He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Vietnam and some college in the same field here from Scarborough.
He is 3 years younger than me. We can talk and socialize about everything. Nothing is off the table.
That is the trick. If you have trouble finding friends in life to share and relieve stress, make friends with the opposite people from your origin country with opposite fields of interests.
Without Chien, I would be stressed all the time.
…
The problem with people is that they think young.
Chien and I think old and are thinking about what life is left.
…
That is key in life.
What life you have left.
I ventured into life as a bottom feeder (full South Vietnamese born in Canada) and had to grow ‘old, old’ to survive.
Now I have people bothering me who are around ‘middle aged’ acting like they are 16 years old questioning me why I am doing this and that ???
I am a full South Vietnamese (bottom feeder born in the West) with no mix with parents from An Giang farmer province. I had to grow super old (wise ???) to live forward like the ancient people 5,000 years ago of the past to turn the page to live.
People criticizing me seriously really think 59 years old is the new 19 years old because that is the thing people say since like 2009. Act young and foolish and forget getting old with reason ???
What life do you have left?
It is building and coding really.
…
Also if I get old and wise I can help and collab with family and friends back home in Vietnam.
To collab with Vietnamese in Vietnam you need a heck of a lot of stuff. Ample knowledge and headroom to place people here and there.
I have been working since 2015 to supply skills and knowledge back home to my family in Vietnam so we can get collaborating.
…
That is the problem and needed action that must take place.
Because none of my first cousins came to the Americas, I spent almost 4 decades learning to provide a platform of education and skills to present and share for my family to work with me in case there is trouble.
…
I am literally tied down.
Now you know why I did this and that and you guys are critical of me.
Nothing is really fun for a bottom feeder full South Vietnamese with no mix.
…
So basically I became an engineer for my family.
I studied biology, chemistry and computers so I could do stuff.
I really did have to. With my skills I can resolve issues rather than complain.
That is the trick. If you are born in Canada or some other First World country, why would you not become someone with lots of skills to counter problems of life?
Survival? Not quite, just seeing problems so often that you would rather solve them.
It was an innate feeling I had to do so.
But I suppose when a man gets older with enough life experiences, he would do the same and get skilled and educated to the teeth.
Especially if there is a woman involved that likes ‘work’ and ‘talking’ 🙂
…
And why not get the multiple educations. I am 42 years old with a few papers. Getting a degree is 4-5 years. Do the math and you should be able to do the same if not more if you wanted to explore what is in front you and manipulate it.
But seriously, I am the only kid in the family willing to save and take care of both sides of the family. As a middle child I felt the need. Ask most middle children if they feel tasked to take on this role.
And again I am full South Vietnamese, I got let go from some jobs because I am full South Vietnamese here in Canada. No newcomers from 1975 are needed is the reason.
But as an old guy, you should pivot to learning as you age to get all the good stuff from research and independent study. The final decades would be great and pluses.
…
But again I live in Canada, if not now then later???
It would be nice to get skilled to the teeth maybe now or later.
It is healthy and feels good.
I am built valuing internally. But because of Canada and just living life I learned to live externally.
People in healthcare understand what I mean. I worked in pharmacy as a tech and learned from patients and people. When you are learning you are healthy all the time. That is the trick of working in healthcare. And because you are in pharmacy you learn the 4D dynamics of caring for patients and drug interactions making you smart and super on top of things and healthy.
…
But people working in computer coding are mostly growing everyday and are unaffected by anything.
