Updates (Mar 20, 2026)
So after growing up, you realize this:
- 2nd gen Vietnamese born women in Canada are looking for another 2nd gen Vietnamese born man in Canada to grow old together. No one wants to die and live alone. Who will microwave the leftover pizza for me? Out of kindergarten, the Vietnamese women notice right away that life is just work in the West. Need RRSP or at least a good company/government pension to spend money on outside Triple-Triple extra large coffees and 2x biscuits. The women looks to partner up with a Vietnamese guy who likes to work and save money and read books.
I played too much and idled too much and never realized this was at the core of Vietnamese women born here. They are suffering trying to play both worlds. They are looking for stability to die together in Canada and vacation at least once a year to Vietnam or the Caribbean.
…
I guess I learned my lesson.
Time to work.
…
Good thing I went back to the Vietnamese community in Toronto in 2021 and realized all this.
I stayed good since 2018 and God provided the path to salvation.
…
My other siblings like my older brother and older sister struggle because they did not find someone.
…
I guess they needed to find someone in Toronto that is 2nd gen Vietnamese born in Canada from Boat People parents too.
They are there.
…
So I deleted my main Instagram account yesterday. It is permanently deleted (2nd one is being deleted too – will take another couple of weeks) because I got DMs which I don’t like to see. It is not safe and mature from what I experienced over the last 5 – 6 years using it.
I am an old, old farty that likes my cheap iced instant coffee and biscuits and don’t want people posting stories pressuring me to listen and watch them 365/24/7.
I pushed and pushed and now I am an old man with a solid good routine.
Are you an old, old man with a good routine yet that you are proud of? If yes, great! Keep it up so you live healthy and long. Enjoy inexpensive coffees and books! Plenty of those. Books will outlast you probably. Tons of things to do with that book knowledge.
Instagram was like 1000% spam with no way to stop it when it launches on your phone. They move the UI around and videos auto-plays causing you to see the feed which causes anxiety and weird feelings. That is unacceptable for me.
I am pretty sure Instagram and similar apps like TikTok I will never really use again. They are just full of anxiety. They make the world dance to their algorithm. I don’t like dancing. I like coffee. I don’t understand what I am getting in exchange. I want a good cup of coffee instead of dancing and anxiety.
I think when Facebook arrived and then YouTube that was enough social media in the world back in 2006 – 2007 ???
Making a FB post requires a lot of work and has to be family friendly. FB looks friendly. It has a nice theme.
Same with YouTube. It has to be family friendly 10000% on YouTube. Making a YouTube worthy video takes so much time and effort. To be popular on YouTube requires you to have manners. The theme of YouTube hasn’t really changed since 2006.
That was when the world made sense.

So how come my parents don’t get racially profiled when they go outside?
Then I realized this …
North America just has a range for people according to race if they are born here.
Because I am full South Vietnamese I get placed in the bad part of the range because there needs to be those people in the range.
Therefore, it is impossible to have kids in Canada if you are 2nd generation.
The majority and people higher up the ladder just put people in a range automatically according to country.
It does make sense because it is natural to. But it wrecks havoc when society is basically in a bad state for the last 6 years since the pandemic and getting worse.
…
So I developed software to help deploy Microsoft Windows and still get racially profiled.
I guess society has finally collapsed.
Good thing I stopped spending and saving money and will return to Vietnam. I can not handle this here.
…
Do people always actively think?
I am not sure as my health is bad.
All life is work.
…
So I grew up in Ajax and was treated badly.
I get treated racially.
But I am an Ajax person.
That is normal.
But when it is time to get work and money and family, you realize growing up in Canada stunted you.
People treated you as the bad guy all your life so how are you supposed to get things done for a family?
Just work with similar frequency people. Allan and Ben I get along with.
