When stranded in life in the West …

You see people on the streets of North America …

Some of them sell goods and services like home cooked food and paintings done by themselves to earn a living …

When I was young and solely thought medicine as the answer to life. To get a wife and work and a house and RRSP, I thought it was healthcare and I went mad.

I went mad for years and years as my family did not understand that as a 2nd generation born in Canada, I felt weak and inept all the time thinking medicine and healthcare was the only thing you should think about.

The answer is layered.

I never spoke to more Vietnamese families about this as we had sparse Vietnamese in the area where we lived.

I thought 1 layer about life, work and a spouse.

I actually thought memorizing biology and naming all the diseases was the thing you are supposed to do to become a doctor.

I finally did computers years later after following Tony Tie.

I did computers, got successful and now realize life was a FUN journey is SAFE, SUPPORTIVE and LOVING CANADA.

Some East Asians in school including South Asians made me feel life was a running sports game to get the best marks and school and friends and grow yourself to a be a formidable person.

But no, no one gives a crap after 35 years old and now you have white hairs, look so hideous, off all the social networks for dating and life … as you have children to teach wholesome manners and maybe even grandchildren.

The years 0 to 35 make you run and jump and gas until younger adults in the 20s make fun of you.

The new generation with their TikTok, Instagram followers, and YouTube channel literally come for you and make fun of your old existence. Basically the young compete. The top young people compete against the old 36 year old you. That is just the way it is. They need someone to step on.

So there you are 36 years old, ugly and out of shape, realizing life is now literally academic and books and writing a scientific journals and publishing research … experimentation and more experiments to fill the libraries of scientific research and discovery and not dancing and singing your best karaoke for your YouTube audience.

That is all life is when you get to 35-36.

The people stranded did not have someone to tell them that life may need more maths more than artistic and feels.

But some people are so themselves that they make money on the street to expose themselves to the people and elements as they might meet someone smart too that will say they like the food and art they are selling.

It is difficult.

Some of the products and services sold on the streets has that value.

Anyways … from street to universities and research centers … just takes a shift in mindset and amount of experiences. Sometimes it just takes an experience or encounter to with some nice person to have good housing and a home and new life. They are looking for encounters or that is just the way they live.

Hopefully the person is not addicted to something …
