In 2023 …

In 2023, I finally finished my second paper.

I went to North York Yonge Street to celebrate.

I fixed my iPhone battery and went to eat at a Pizza joint for tasty authentic Silicy European slice.

I got a good slice with nice pop.

After I finished writing my article.

I traveled around looking to buy some Asian snacks for mum.

Encountered the Chinese/Korean immigrants living and working at their grocery stores.

Here I am a 39 years old Vietnamese-Canadian stunted because of ABC and XYZ shopping in a gated Asian town where ethnic people flourish.

I could not speak well to the Asians on Yonge Street and felt stupid.

I bought the pastries and left.

Then an older lady followed me to my bus stop.

So immigrant East Asians living a free life on Yonge Street want to meet a Vietnamese-Canadian who was stunted for 20 years in the system who finally broke free and created software that supports his entire well being and family?

So I lose a lot and gain a lot of free time?

So 20 years hollow inside and with pretty great accomplishments at the finish line … but 20 years after 20 years empty?

So full South Vietnamese that can work with White Westerners after school are located in East Durham Region study silently and are treated secondary for their entire lives … then get older and do some stuff to compensate for the emptiness?

I guess that is the trade off.

What are my parents doing at 46 years in this country?

So my mom acts like a child in front of her children not wanting to study engineering or pharmacy. She says she suffers in the West with free health care, Old Age pension and living in a nice house in Oshawa North with access to a van.

She keeps her children’s mindset scared at 16 years old to study when they are in there 40s.

What is she doing keeping her kids scared of growing up and studying and making videos and software.

Basically she is saying, as a Vietnamese that was bombed for 20 years and colonized by the French, you better study like you are in high school till you die or you die of embarrassment working in Canada because Canada and North America/World are externally validated worlds. It is better studying till you die because you can outwit everyone and reverse the stereotypes if you do as other Vietnamese will mention the Nghiep and Can Nguyen family in passing to screw with all the races and gain their respect like now.

The family unit is unbreakable so you can live as a family growing.

But when to break free? Especially in North America where this is abnormal.

Probably all the homelessness in Canada and North America that are Vietnamese is because the Vietnamese guy was treated secondary in his life and could not uphold himself as he had no examples of Vietnamese doing extraordinary things. Who is driving that?

So David’s mother knows the secret to raising her kids with high output.

Ok but they are in their 40s now.

But this is a special case. Vietnam War people. Now what?

It is the crazy dynamic of being and becoming more First Peoples that creates this arch.

The fight and hate and racism, creates the products and services we offer.

But at old age, we become First Peoples, the children and we have to move back or succumb to living in the forests.

But the problem is that they were First Peoples in the beginning and pretending to harness their Vietnamese roots to study and work.

So after realizing practical nursing was not good for me, I turned to computers to build. Now I got fat and live doing 4D coding. My head is in a different world and it is tiring and heavy. Now I ballooned more because my mom is addicted to the views and attention we get. She insists acting 16 years old and coding more. Take prescription medication to get skinny and healthy. She is having the time of her life happy inside raising her sons to be hard working while we are so tired now was the world was not made to work in 4D with AI.

The racism I get with other Asians is hogwash. It is normal and no one wins. Just accept it.

So 51 years after the Vietnam War, Vietnamese got something good working with the World remotely (Internet was available for everyone but David got connections to some great people) and other Asians are angry that we don’t serve soup and sell fruit and vegetables all day on the streets in China Towns across North America.

But this is normal. They are stuck reading and writing at home with themselves and their community while Vietnamese are a mixed bunch and can work with everyone.

Vietnamese from the Mekong realize they are mixed with every country in the world and now other Asians say you are not supposed to know that you are mixed tropical people where the rich and smart come to play, eat and make a child or two. You should only know you are Southern Barbarians who look and act like monkeys to serve neighbouring countries because you have access to all the forever growing agriculture. Some reason they figured it out and we need to pound it into them by treating them like black Dalit people to keep them from learning and harnessing power and kickback. This is normal and was kept a secret for 1000s of years as Wars and Wars and colonization happened daily.

So back in the 1970’s Canada and North America could absorb other countries and their cultures.

But for the last 50 – 60 years nothing changed and just degraded.

Canada is less Canadian and more First Peoples.

Europeans are moving here? Not sure. I think Europeans are border line 2:2 birth rate.

Instead of researching a topic in the local library for 2-3 week there is biased Chat Bots?

So inevitable the North American system needs the broadest minds to help it adapt and take into other cultures to show which direction is right.

I talk to British people daily and they have such boundless minds that everything is accounted for. But are they moving here?

Then who will account for everyone?
