Updates (July 8, 2026) Part 4

If you have the means … like live in Canada with a family business that you attend to 24/7/365 like rentals/real estate and can do coding that you like to benefit then that is good enough.

The skills you gain from coding personal projects will overtime cement you in the world of work and design.

There is no special need for AI and creating autocomplete systems as the idea of it is stagnating.

Yes, there are certain people that have the power to utilize AI and all these technologies effectively. But how many people are that running, 0.00001%?

Anyways you got to be you and understand where you stand with AI.

If your work is so far off the grid, then AI will use your coding to train itself.

That is all it is.

The more work people do that is unique and independent, then AI will use it for its prediction models and the AI CEO will buy a super-super-super-yacht that can transform into a submarine to fight other AI CEOs in their submarines while you use 1-ply tissue paper and drink OK discount instant coffee. Really fair.

So do you do use AI? No, for the health of yourself and well being the ‘grunt work’ is all that is beneficial and right like back in 1970 and including now.

You will benefit so much in the long run if you don’t become slave to AI helpfulness and ease of use.

Grunt work till the end of my time? What about your time? Don’t you want 100x muscles in the brain by figuring it all out on your own? ‘Sexy brain muscles’?

Anyways who really cares for AI in in modern times … it will just make things worst by going too fast. Do your passion projects and address your trauma and you might get one in a lifetime chance to develop something that makes your mark in society that will feed you indefinitely.

Also if you are an actual North American born, you get tired of trying … then die. You lose while others win. This so called collaboration thing only works if one of the guys are North American and trying his hardest to win a life and family of his own before passing away into the boreal forest.

There is this death element in life for North Americans. Immigrants will never understand.

The problem with AI is that it should be a tool that is used privately/cost money. Young kids using it will default to using it solely and badly.

Then there will be an accident and the kid is hurt or disabled. Then the kid relearns the proper ways. But what are the proper ways when everything is mostly AI?

It depends on the individual but at the end of the day being connected to a super processing AI machine doesn’t feel right for me as a millennial. The satisfaction of learning coding from the ground up to deploy software that is used by billions is what is going on. Going back and forth between AI and ground work is too weird.

Just grunt work. Depend solely on you for the developing independence feeling and independence.

Also it depends on culture.

No one taught me anything really useful until I went in and tried out my passions and hobbies and went all in.

I created some free utilities and game utilities in 2020, that is where learning is cemented. Trying to close the hole in complete software development and deployment to release to the world. That is the most scariest thing in the world.

Going out there and trying your luck to make something that you like first which is the most important and compete with competitors for utilities in the system and gaming space.

But at 35 years old in 2020, I had the choice and time. That is the cool thing about living in Canada. I had the time and money and energy to develop and deploy.

Kids these days with tradition Asian parents are taught by the age of 26 they should be in medical school at least if by 21 they failed trying to get into something professional. there is a 5 year window to improve after finishing university.

Yes, I like to do stuff. But the thing is that I am Vietnamese and have no parachute really back in 2020. That is the main driver. Now I am OK.
