Vietnamese in Western Media

In media we are stereotyped into 2 roles because the world has not changed since 1 millions years really.

  1. Look-alike Chinese
    • General Nerd
    • Computer guy
    • Banker
    • Healthcare
  2. Kung Fu Master
  3. and maybe Eastern Wisdom and Magic

But because the world is more racist now as TikTok and Instagram teach differences between people in 10 second reels for ego and pride and narcissism to fuel the ‘ego dopamine’ in each other and the world.

Vietnamese are negatively stereotyped more:

  1. Sell drugs
  2. Grow weed
  3. Really, really non compliant …
  4. Thief
  5. Thug
  6. Ricer

So as the world got harder to live (overpopulation basically) making people become more restless and full of hate and thuggish action to hurt physically ‘other’ people.

Instagram and TikTok show life in 5 seconds ads and reels to divide people and make Gazillions $$$ through colorism and racism and hate. WE NEED THIS! MAKES AMERICA MONEY!!! So you got to mix with whiter people to live hassle free? Colour mixing cycle. Since like forever. Since the beginning of time.

Vietnamese get crapped on as we are generally darker, look SEA, ZEN Buddhist people, non-polarized, invisible, subservient (tributary nation roots and location as we are the meeting point between India and China), small.

The more AI and more social media makes this worse.

AI and social media will play and play and make things more polar.

Makes Vietnamese a sideshow of stereotypes heightened I think. Generalities will be facts with AI because of Western bias for money and racism and hate. Pick the money making AI ad reel instead of thought provoking thinking one that asks you to empathsize. Just react on colour and sex.

America is doomed for under baseline people. But it is just a cycle. Move and mix.

Move to a place where work is merit and busy so you can focus on work and family. Move more North East in Americas and avoid the rambunctious media.
