Buy or Own your AI Tech?

The problem with small is that you buy from others.

It depends on the person.

Most people know by design that you need to build from scratch.

To understand the creature is to be that creature.

And to be that creature is to raise it from when it is a molecule.

The problem is time and money and confidence in your ability to drive to the end.

The problem with me doing website theme design and overall web development is that I need to understand WordPress inside and out. That is the only way I can design plugins later and add add-ons later.

I think it is the same with AI.

You might not get results in 2 years but maybe 10-20 years with the results and understanding you need to do it right and with full understanding.

But if you are already smart and been at it for sometime, like you got the general understanding of how AI is, then things should be OK as both the AI tech stack and you are at the same level of complexity in and out.

Basically you must be as complex and structured as the AI tech you are using.

All of this is assumptions.

But generally if you got the experience and education then go for buying a equivalent you in AI form.
