What should 2nd Generation Vietnamese think and do to feel good 24/7
Vietnamese according to the Urban Dictionary in North America are low-skilled workers who drink and party a lot.

On the streets of Oshawa, no one cares. Even if you are a real blue alien from outer space no one cares, people are busy here wanting to relax after a shift at GM. They need a nice sub sandwich to heal up and relax with plenty of moist salty ham and sharp cheese, crisp tomato and lettuce and thin cut sweet white onions and sub dressing oily sauce. That’s guud.
On the streets of Toronto, Chinese rule as they do all the jobs, logistics, infrastructure and loaning.
In colleges, the mixed people rule as life is actually practical one-on-one. Life is 100% civilized for ice cream at the end of a hard day’s work. Heheheheh … me. I love college.
In universities, the East Asians rules.
…
What does that leave for SEAs and Pacific Islanders? For decades they did crime and low level work after the Vietnam War diasporas?
The only solution is solo research and doing what you love for decades at home with your parents and friends online and local. Siblings count later in life when your joints start aching, just find a group of friends.
Most East Asians think conformity and grouping. This helps them maximize knowledge, control and leadership. China and Chinese network, most East Asians have this too … including South Asians. Far East countries too like the Philippines also group. It depends on numbers and how far East you are too sometimes.
Passion projects derived from 3 – 4 decades years of existence on this planet from solo researchers totally override the ethnocentrism (East and West), school/academia 1000’s year culture and huge ego of egotistical individuals and group ego work (aka: social nights / partying / party-party 🙂 ) in universities and research institutions.

So if you are SEA or a Pacific Islander and somehow hate your existence in the West (too confusing to feel good: too many viewpoints) and in the world, not looking that good or look plain ugly to the majority:
- Buy a plenty core CPU computer min 6+ cores (2 tower cooler to avoid water cooling: your data is more important than silent water cooling) with lots of RAM 32GB+ (Max it out to 128GB if you can to run 3 – 4 VM and sleep them) and plenty of PCIe 5.0+ NVME SSDs with DRAM cache to work. You must achieve ZEN mode/Zone out in the mind because you aren’t getting any prettier in the West. The West just sucks ass to be SEA and a Pacific Islander so enjoy nanosecond PC speed ups every few years upgrading the computer. The event is to go on incredible tangents in the mind and “unknown, unknown” while relaxing drink water, coffee and sometimes specialty coffee. It is just this plain and simple. We are dark and invisible so we drink our tasty Ice Caps and stay inside networking.

But the funny thing about South Vietnamese is that it is overlooked, is that they are a bit or mixed a lot with different genes from all over the world. All of the worlds want a piece of the land’s forever growing bamboo to eat in cheap instant noodles and in tasty stir fries.
But spending 400 years in Funan South has made some South Vietnamese dark and invisible compared to Northern Vietnamese.
So at the end it is the 1-drop rule. Because I am originally from An Giang via my parents, I am a Funanese person that is on the dark more invisible side of Funan.
Funanese people are great agricultural farmers who maintain the Mekong forever growing tropical forests. Not actually lazy as the climate dictates what we can do or not but we maximize every piece of land in the Mekong. We are friends to the animals to provide us meat and protein (milk too) and work. We are Zen nature people.
…
But transported over to the Americas, we are service people and relate to emotions so we target service work mainly.
…
We aren’t actually dumb because the biodiversity of Mekong must be maintained for maximum growth and nutrition to supply our people and China and neighbours.
We get killed and bombed to keep our country in tributary farming mode. The world comes to Vietnam to explore and eat and vacation and sometimes people make babies. So the people of Mekong could have this person’s genes or that from A, B or Z country.
Good or bad? It is a mix. Some Vietnamese come to Americas and realize life is a solo journey and aspire and some party like it the 1920s ‘Roaring 20s’ drinking all day and gambling.
It really depends on the person. And GOD!
In Canada where their is supports for everyone and free health care, 2nd gen usually do healthcare and IT work.
But it depends on the person at the end, the individual.
…
I did my grade 6 dream of building computer utility software at the end.
2nd gen should pair up with other 2nd gen Vietnamese and see what they can brew.
