So today’s kids … they forget there are …

Finally figured out why 17 year old kids are hanging around me waiting to crash on me whenever I go outside to do something.

They have been watching TikTok since 2016 and Instagram since 2010 and think a 42 years Millennial old full South Vietnamese guy born in Canada should be selling soup and rice instead of doing the things he is doing.

They think ALL VIETNAMESE people sell OK quality sandals, fresh herbs and good selection of vegetables, nifty toys in China Town streets in Toronto and Vancouver according to popular TikTok and Instagram social media creators. Also sell one of a kind dog meat, cat meat, pig and goat heads for delicious spicy hot pot with exotic spices and sauces.

It surprises them so much that a full South Vietnamese guy born in Canada happens to know how to count beyond 100.

I think they should continue to watch more Instagram and more TikTok to expand the mind.

Remember it has been 51 years after the Vietnam War. Things are being done to chart data for the next generation as more and more immigration occurs. 4 sets of data/generations should be passed until stereotypes are made about Vietnamese in the West just like African-Canadian, South Asian-Canadian, East Asian-Canadian, Muslim-Canadian or any other group.
