Parents from An Giang province from the part that does farming mostly. So we ‘provide’ rice, etc.

We are farmer peoples. We produce not only for us but you and others for hundreds/thousands of years for our people and our neighbours. It is in our genes. I farm rice mostly. Do you want cat fish too? How many?

Baseline is Poor Millennial with 1 older brother and 1 older sister and 1 younger sister. Had highspeed Internet in 1998? So I grew up OK playing baseball and basketball outside in the park without the social media that compares people 24/7/365.

Got a CompTIA A+ IT certificate at 14 years old in 1998. Accomplished level.

Must live productive and good and well.

Learned that to live a good life, it is to educate.

Secret Code

The secret code of Vietnamese when they are young from 10 – 35.

  • We know who are compatible with and live daily to avoid being ‘settled, settled’. You want to see life after 21 and work and play until you meet that someone who fulfills all your troubles.

The secret to life of Vietnamese when they are from 40+.

  • We then get to this stage and realize we may live the next 60 years sick, sad and in despair and depressed trying to make sense of life of this period.
  • We then realize life should be 50 : 50 really. Nothing is perfect. After pushing hard you realize you can only have half the cake with some tea.

But what are your parents doing behind the scenes as you are approaching 45???

  • Why am I still doing this while other people are interloping and having fun? What is in the grande scheme of things? She is stating what she can do … Mom is doing something and stating something?

Is there more to life? My parents are doing something.
