Mental wellbeing for youth for Vietnamese students

Just get off social media and even off YouTube.

The stressors of daily life plus AI and social media is too much for one person these days, especially for Vietnamese.

Vietnamese here in Canada are isolated from the main groups growing up. I don’t know how it is over in Vietnam with other SEA countries and China.

This compression and lack of equal access and lower treatment is horrid. The only way is cut the digital cord. Turn off WiFi and live and work through Textbooks and papers (newspapers)

Are we getting targeted? Yes!

Life since 2024 for me as a programmer was too much that I don’t even have Instagram or TikTok on my phone. I even uninstalled the YouTube app.

I was getting targeted ads to maim me to do what other outside groups want via stereotypes and class structure to treat Vietnamese bad in North America.

The influence of outside groups was tremendously bad and hurtful as the ads and reels look down on my thinking and natural state.

I do feel … other groups want Vietnamese to do the jobs they want us to do and hack at our new confidence we created over the last 52 years so we succumb to doing the work and lifestyle of the 1970 – 80s as that is how it is in life worldwide.

People naturally are racists and stuck in the past in the 1800s – 1600s.

Technology and knowledge and lifestyle hasn’t changed.

The industrial era and globalization has not done anything as frequencies of the countries land don’t change.

Countries are divided by their placement in the world. Borders are drawn and people and just people and don’t change.

Do not expect equality or better treatment as you are still the same person as your great-great-great grandfather.

Keep your guard up and be understanding and open as possible because life has gotten overwhelming with social media and AI.

What is your problem? Can you spend the next 4 days learning about our product? We will follow you and you follow us? That is a good trade.
