So I now understand life as a Vietnamese man born in Canada.
The more I flesh out and talk about race, culture, and social dynamics, the more I see other Vietnamese.

When I discuss Western atmosphere with Vietnamese people, there is an area where I fit in the West. There is a spot for me at my basic level within the Vietnamese in the West location.
All I had to do is talk and search and grow until I understood the cultural and social dynamics.
So that means there is a spot for all my siblings in the West. It is at your basic level of everything.
But as a Vietnamese I don’t think in division … there is no real division in Vietnamese culture.
But I do have a basic level of Vietnamese identity.

The thing with being old is that you do the things you like and entertain it.
That is life as an old person really.
Good thing I got old and entertain things as that is how life is really for everyone at the end.
Getting old is good because you attend to things that are more human and natural most of the time.
I think most things that are invented are done naturally by what people like. A natural rhythm to living.

When you have studied so much computers then you get onto the dark side I think.
The more you program and program, it goes into building more efficient all-in-one systems. And that is power and control.
I finished doing my ‘fun software’. Now onto doing real apps with proper system design, I understand things have to be open and efficient. The more open it is and more efficient it is, it is power and control. The knowledge you have is immense. So immense.
Now I understand life from light to dark. I was having fun all the time since 2014 …

I spoke with a doctor the other day, understanding the regular treatment given.
Sick people are already trying their best. They don’t want to be told to change their routine or work harder. Some people fight through the pain and want pills not understanding they have to improve constantly to avoid the downhill fall of growing old like everybody else.
My key to health then was gradual logical growth through coding. Building more math and logic and thus knowledge.
The key for maximal health is providing value too. You have to provide the easy solution. Software is one type of solution.

Now I understand Vietnamese born in Canada or at least Vietnamese that are 99.9999% Westernized.
Some Vietnamese make me think negative, some Vietnamese make me think OK. Some Vietnamese make me think positive. Some Vietnamese make me think nothing. Some Vietnamese make me think forward. Some Vietnamese make me think about life. Some Vietnamese make me think meta. Some Vietnamese make me think divided. Some Vietnamese make me think black and white. Some Vietnamese make me think confused. Some Vietnamese make me think blended. Some Vietnamese make me angry. Some Vietnamese make me think about things outside of me.
This is what happens when Vietnamese socialize in the West.
It is not like in Vietnam where everyone is on the same wavelength.
Vietnamese that are Westernized can make you feel all these different things in a safe environment where things can be said and learned and changed.
The best way to think is meta, positive, about life and blended and about things other than yourself.
I did not know socializing with Vietnamese born in Canada offered a new world and for me to grow.

Awesome thing about Tammy Nguyen.
She showed me her side of the family.
I learned and grew to a point where I did stuff with her support.
I think it is normal for her. It is normal for her to see stuff like I do and her family does. And that is absolutely incredible.
Everything is doable and are just normal things that anyone can accomplish with the right supports.

Early life …
I was taught just to do what I liked and go with the flow …
To get the respect from 99.9999% of people in the world you must build skills over a lifetime.
Finally after going back to school for computer programming in 2020, I finally have scholars and teachers from Vietnam and elsewhere connecting with me.
I tried so hard to do stuff and show Tammy.
The secret was not only to do what you like, but fill and build more until you had something that took years of effort.

Now because I have accomplished more than I wanted and gone through the next process of doing more and now trying new things, people notice that I have broad thinking and knowledge and skill.
I can comment and talk about things that are big and encapsulate most things and help others.
The broader you are in the Vietnamese way of learning everything, the good progressive impact you can have is so nice and warm.

What I think Vietnamese people want universally deep-down inside in the 21st century …
They want to be a thinker and doer in the Western sense.
But because of their heritage they may not feel 100% Western and thus what they do lacks a bit.
But Vietnamese know inside they somehow need to rise in their being and bring up their heritage to feel well overall. When they are young, they want to be 200% Western but that is almost impossible. They understand later or fast that you do have to start from what you feel naturally inside and cultivate that and grow that until it has meaning and a life of its own.
At that point it can stand on its own. And later adapt alongside other ideas and perspectives. Or even blend.
This is how people evolve too.

If you look closely at Asian people who work so hard on themselves, they almost look and think Western. They turn more Western. That is the trick. To work on yourself so much that you can feel good thinking Western almost.
It is the abundance and research and doing that is fun and is wealth.
But there is a baseline of who you are naturally at baseline … over the thousands of years, your people strived for some favorable characteristics. So you don’t really lose that.
Reading your history and world history will show you what you are and what you are made of and then you can have a trajectory.

Vietnamese after they lived in Canada 20+ years, will strive for Western lifestyles I think.
What I am doing with my brother and team is very good feeling.
Yes it does not make money and yes it is not stable, but that is the Western lifestyle that is something everyone wants at the end and it is doable as long as you live in the West and learn and learn and learn from everything and everyone.
Possibly that is the secret to living happy and well in the West even as a coloured person.
I did not see this clearly until now. When I started my journey most Vietnamese from Vietnam expected everyone to strive for professional jobs.
Now that I am living for myself individualistically, many Vietnamese regardless of location and time spent here in the West are looking up my brother and I.
Yes, living the Western ways has 99.9999% of the benefits of feeling well.
That is learning, developing, being entrepreneurial and taking risks that are so high.
After taking the risks to live so broadly, everything else after is a choice really. You can almost predict the end result of every choice really once you tried out risky choices like studying programming for decades.
Basically, studying maths like programming gives you the reach and oversight … That is the trick … But doesn’t everybody naturally knows this deep in their body?
Yes, everyone does. But no one really takes the jump until the need is there and there is no other choice. Once you experience everything fast or slow, earlier or latter, programming is the solution.
