Updates (Mar 23, 2026)

Some people are out there working hard and socializing daily to make that money to put into a RRSP.

Some people are 28 and still not finished school because they studied ‘abcs’ first.

Some people are on lazing about smoking and eating and sleeping most of the day but are OK. That is the life they chose. God has given them that to live on.

Who is to judge in Canada? America or any other First World country.

For some places, the conditions allowed that.

But if you sell everything and move back to Vietnam, then that is serious.

Total different meaning to living.

People strive to get away from those living conditions.

Some people don’t mind.

But Vietnam is getting better.

So what is it? as countries develop into developed countries?

What is the drive to go overseas still for the American Dream?

After working for years, life is just hard. Everyone is aiming to get work and do good work.

There is pride in working well.

…

That is all it is at the end of the day.

THE PROBLEM:

Easy life or Hard life in Canada.

What is reasonable for full South Vietnamese man?

I guess it is to take my time building until I can get reasonable work in tech???

That is basically the goal for every person in tech.

But reality I am up against millions of bright and more smarter and more experienced programmers.

Dollar stores are beautiful. Living in a First World nation you realize you get services like dollar stores.

Wow that is just amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I have to live like my father in Canada. We are full South Vietnamese. We are blessed with health and enough.
