Updates (Dec 22, 2025)

What to do now really?

So you stay indoors talking to your old team doing your thing.

You sometimes go the coffee shop and get your double double.

Some people are bothered about immigrants.

It takes like 15 – 20 years for immigrants to open their mind to think like North Americans really or less.

All we can do as Canadians is support them and wait for immigrants to open their mind like Canadians so they run the big companies and support both immigrants and Canadians.

Fresh input and fresh ideas.

We need everyone at the end. People will grow up to have ideas at the end.

The thing about getting old …

After 35+ years in Canada, you learn to solve your own problems.

Young people say this and that.

If you are old, old then you address the elephant in the room.

What am I going to do for the next 50 years at 35? Most Canadians live till their 80s nowadays.

No one wants to live solely on Old Age Pension.

Then you did what I did and figured out how to solve the hardest problems in your life and address the trauma you faced growing up here in Canada.

The hardest problem is to be self-sufficient.

If you played your cards right, you subconsciously learned from grade 1 to 35 years old and worked a few jobs. At the end, you know that logic and engineering are needed to create and become self-sufficient.

Next is to do you. What problems did you face growing up? When I realized life was external from going to the city of Toronto then I addressed my problems. I subconsciously and consciously created educational software to teach the skills that I lacked growing up.

That is all there is too life. This was my life as a Vietnamese born in Canada.

I did not know life was external until I was 35 years old.

I went to the city of Toronto (Scarborough) and did practical nursing. The top students pushed their lifestyle and high culture. The people that had the highest culture had the best health and broadest thinking to account for others and including themselves.

Then I took it upon myself to build what I was lacking as a Vietnamese born in Canada.

That is all it is in life.

I learned from other Vietnamese on social media that I was lacking something … so I just went ahead and took a go at it and played with my friends.

As a Vietnamese born in Canada, I had the time and supports just like every other Canadian born.

No one lacks if they are born in Canada.

The things about medicine and then what I feel.

The medical system is about what?

Doing what I like is about what?

Then you compare what makes you happy naturally and have freedom and enjoy ice cream here in Canada.

For me as a Vietnamese born in Canada, medicine doesn’t make sense to me as I don’t understand it in the Northern sphere. The countries that have cold weather have the medical culture.

As a full South Vietnamese born here in Canada, I am always busy doing what I like because I am Canadian born. I never get sick or bored. I am busy to not worry about medicine culture. Is it due to circumstance? Yes!

People degrade South Vietnamese thinking bad of them.

But the reality is that for full South Vietnamese from the Mekong is that they have to farm and prepare for bad harvests, protect their land and provide produce for other neighboring countries and the rest of Vietnam.

The Western (North America) media portrays everyone in the worst light if they are from the Southern countries that is just how the mentality works. Southern = bad, while Northern = good. Simply that and it is universally accepted.

That is the frequency here in North America. I guess that will get worse overtime if we don’t import more immigrants.

But you have to work with this frequency to get something too.

Regardless of however your life went … how many good and bad things??? you did …

Everyone has that baseline.

Baseline of what they think is OK, right acceptable.

Who is in the same room as them?

What am I doing in Canada?

Another way to respond is that I am experimenting with Canadians and with the diversity old and new.

Who is in the same room as me?

In the same room are Boat People.

But also the group that supported me since 2017 when I went back to college and 2021 when I joined back to my old university.

To get people off your back is to simply say for me … I am living like my friend Ben Cybulski. He has the way of living that is 100% moral and forward as a Canadian.

If someone says to you that is wrong according to them and tries to enforce their beliefs, then you awaken Ben Cybulski way that arises beyond that. That is the only way forward and nice the Canadian way. Any other way doesn’t work in society and in life.

I never knew Ben’s way was accommodating that much until now.

Does it work 100% of the time? Yeah …

The most moral and forward way like a Canadian works 100% of the time.

But to maintain that thinking requires relentless thinking positive and forward. Takes practice.

It accounts for things and all things really.

What you do in your head is just that and your personal problems is just that but the Canadian way helps and accounts for everything …

At the end the moral way and most forward way will win out.

But what about the Old World neighbors? British, French, German and etc. all the way to Russia? Their perspective is needed too? They are pen pals at least?

At 35- 40 is when I grew.

I grew the 50:50. Life could be this or that but everything is 50:50.

If you go on tangents for years addressing your concerns and adding features and refactoring a ton like 10x at least, then you can firmly stand on an angle and say something.

For example, if you go do something that bothers you and you address it through software and refactor that project 10x – 100x then you got a solution that is really stable and solid. That is all it is at the basic form. That is how you create products.

The secret more is to go to solve a problem that is specialized. You aren’t really trying to make another Microsoft Word/Google Docs … you got to build something that really bothers you. Keep at it until you make it. This way or nothing …

It is my brother’s turn to get strong.

I am now investing in him.

He doesn’t know life is external with maths and logics so he can talk to women.

I tried to make friends with Southern Vietnamese from the Mekong area in Canada. I am from An Giang province near the main Mekong rivers for the last 400+ years.

They unfriended me when they realized their thinking is found out. They are young, that is why … They think their thinking is solid but they don’t realize …

I am an old guy but born in Canada and that is new. It has only been 50 years since 1975 so everything is new here in Canada so I don’t really care. They haven’t realized that no one really cares how you think now or in the future here in Canada in the real outside world. Canada is full of natural resources and fields of wheat and corn. If you don’t adjust your thinking to take into account the more possibilities of life then you lose a connection. You have to change to adjust the bountiful resources here in Canada and don’t think your way forever. You have to be open to discuss and adjust.

People around the Saigon region and Northern regions usually don’t unfriend me because they have limited resources back home. They think they need people since day 1. They know by nature, life could be more as they are limited in resources without the Mekong Delta vegetation to support them.

But if I never befriended them in the first place I would understand this and they wouldn’t understand Vietnamese born in Canada … now we are all learning and adjusting.

I realized the coolest thing now …

Boat People children born in Canada all act the same. Especially in the GTA.

People outside don’t understand our connection with each other.

As they also have theirs too.

Regardless of the interactions outside, Boat People children born in Canada have each other.
