As a Canadian born you will never connect with people that are born overseas really I think … maybe understand each other 99%. But that deep connection of being Native Canadian/Native North American can not see linked to other overseas people I think.

When to upgrade a PC platform?
I have been using AM4 AMD Ryzen since 2019.
The year is winding down in 2025.
I still have not upgraded my main PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 on a B550 motherboard.
I messed up and bought a B550 motherboard. I should have gotten a X570/S to get all PCIe4.0 connectivity.
Earlier this year I finally bought a PCIe 4.0 NVME and it helped speed my computer up so much.
Then I learned that you can also speed your PC more by moving scratch disks and page files and cache to a separate NVME. And faster moving Virtual Machines to another NVME. But the remaining one m.2 slot is PCIe3.0 only. Only the x16 slot is a remaining PCIe4.0 connection which has my GPU.
That is what happens when you budget for yourself LOL!

Now I understand dating …
In South Asian cultures, I have a friend whose dad was born in India and moved to Canada when he was very young. When he got old he went back to India and married.
People born in Canada usually have too much fun and are floating. 99.99% of them float.
That is why I see South Asians returning back home marrying an immigrant? Am I right or wrong? I think Western-born marry Western-born??? I am pretty sure the differences are too huge to marry an immigrant.
But what does that mean for Vietnamese born in the West?
I have a feeling that in modern day 2025, Vietnamese from the West are moving back home to Vietnam to marry and have a family??? Either with a Vietnamese from Vietnam or another Western born Vietnamese going back to Vietnam to raise a family and live. I think it only works if a Western born marries a Western born and moves back to Vietnam.
I don’t want to float no more.
The conditions of life in the West don’t support the general Vietnamese thinking of mine in my core. I can not raise a family here in the West I think because of the way I think naturally. I usually counter people just because … I think I counter people because I am Vietnamese, am a farmer … that means I have to charm people.

I also learned that in my case, I am Vietnamese born in Canada whose parents are from the South that is naturally attracted to Northern looking Vietnamese. The reality is I come from An Giang for 300+ years making me look and feel like a Southeastern person rather than a North Vietnamese … Yes I still act Canadian but deep down I am Southern Vietnamese for 300+ years.
That is the baseline feeling … I am a Southeastern guy that is attracted to Northern looking Vietnamese.
All my cousins I think married and had kids with their opposite. Their opposites look different (North versus South) and have opposite energy to them.
My dad looks Southeastern at 16 years old while my mom looks more Northern Vietnamese at 18/19 years old.
I think now I understand for marriage and children, opposites attract and make families at the end.

I am a 100% South Vietnamese An Giang (Southeastern) who is naturally attracted to opposite North Vietnamese women. It is about balance and family now. Not about floating or experimenting.
I look Southeastern mostly.

So it looks like this is how my life went …
- Canadian born with Canadian tendencies … want to joke and have fun listening to 90’s alternative rock music as most of my life was in Ajax, Ontario.
- Realize now after reflecting so much, I was born in Oshawa and moved to Ajax. Ajax people dislike people from Oshawa. Life is ruined as I beat on a different frequency because of where I am born and from. I am full South Vietnamese from An Giang who has to farm all day to provide for others and also born in Oshawa where they are hard working: GM auto industry.
- Get bullied all the time in Ajax.
- For some reason go to school in Toronto (Scarborough) and also get bullied as I am from Oshawa/Ajax and full South Vietnamese. Should have went East and North where I am helped and not bullied. That means go to school at Trent University at least where they feel sorry for me.
- Should stay in Durham Region or further East North like Clarington to stay out of trouble for life.
But along the way learn the Asian perspectives from Toronto Vietnamese like Tammy Nguyen. Next 6 years we build together. We work together daily.
Finish school with couple of papers. Got published in a ‘developers’ online magazine, refactored a ton, refactor so much that it became something else … refactored more and became an ‘old, old’ adult.

I realize you are suppose to befriend the female that is born more South West than you. Natural intuition and feeling.
