How to get the programming skills to work as a ‘Digital Nomad’?
I am not a great programmer.
I still program what I like. I program what fuels my soul.
I think in order to do freelance programming like a full stack developer you need to know this much to feel ‘absolute freedom’.
Basically understand how to develop an entire Operating System yourself.
If you can do that you are golden LOL!
Second is to develop your own programming language.
Third is to develop your own framework.
A lot of developed countries in the past have developed their own Operating System to reach developed status.

I am not sure. It seems the more mature you get in the West, you realize having just enough money and having an OK place to live up somewhere quiet North and reading and writing books is the best way to live regardless if it is 1800’s or 2100’s.

Technicality of ‘work’ …
Working in society doing things technical usually it is linear and there are limits, physical limits.
That makes people have commotion. The daily fanfare. The person with the encyclopedia brain usually answers the problem.
Then people either win or lose depending how big their encyclopedia is.
People then rush (compete) to have more knowledge and experiences to solve the next technical problem.
But what about doing your own thing??? Designing your own tools for your problem or the problem you see out in the world that you really care about?
For Canadian born like me, who cared and did not care … somehow we solved our problems overtime.

What I learned at 35 years old in 2019 …
Life can be about doing external things.
It is really not required … You can do services.
But for a South Vietnamese who ‘is lost’ born in Canada … was it really necessary to go external?

I was judge in my face externally in the city of Scarborough in 2019.
Then when I finally connected with my culture in 2021 to now, I was shown that external things are actually needed for life.
Children can not have a father who doesn’t push for external validation. You got to teach your children to grow instead of being so passive. You can not have children unless you want external validation here or there.
