Updates (July 8, 2025)

As I have socialized with Vietnamese people around my age range in Canada now (30 – 45) who are working good stable jobs, I learned the part of life where it is Vietnamese are working and thriving here in Canada.

That is very important. Probably the most important.

Before I was kind of miserable doing all these stressful pushing work in coding and development. But the development was only really passion work which is the less stressful of the 2. Web development is the real stressor.

I learned you can run successful restaurant businesses with you own take. Having elevated menu and dining experience.

And that works. Works well in the developed world like Canada and is welcomed with open arms. Food is king in the West because of stress.

How to maintain ‘super real’ health in 2025?

The thing with development especially passion development is the health benefits.

With normal work your goals are normal.

With normal coding work like backend banking jobs the development maybe new to adapt old to new but still linear mostly.

With web development you are trying to be a Picasso and that takes a lifetime of practice to get the visuals and code right to show off to the world ‘online’.

But with passion development, you go out of your way to develop something maybe new. It is more than higher levels. It is your work, your canvas, your choice, your inner insides. It makes you feel good, it makes you zone out, brings you into a world where you feel elated and full and fulfilling. It is not 3-4 layers up. It is your 3-4 layers up but with your worldview and your own recipe.

And that is health.

My brother still works in the visual realm and that is not healthy.

His work is 1-2 level maybe 3 levels deep.

He needs to learn the abstraction of math/coding to gain a foothold. Then he will get his health like me and more.

He already nailed down art his way.

But he relies on me for the technicality of his work.

I install the software, I setup the software, I do the coding.

Therefore, I should give up on him so he realizes he needs to do the coding himself. Then he will gain his health and rise to another level and vision.

It is simple like that?

But who in 2025 really wants to spend 10-20 years learning to code?

The media says coding is not in. But they are doing a disservice to the world …

Coding was everything for health and that higher living and thinking.

I have been complaining … Now I realize it was to vent, reflect and health.

I got upset that I had to code to make a living as it was so stressful. I got upset that coding made me feel ‘bad’.

But stopping coding for 1 month I realize I was losing my health and its benefits.

I guess I went full circle???

Basically coding for your passion projects is OK and good as it brings in health at 200%+.

Online life …

When I was late teens, I found socializing online on tech forums was what I liked.

I visited HardwareCanucks forum the most, RedFlagDeals was second here in Canada.

Then Discord came.

I find I am in my element when I am socializing with my old pals from HardwareCanucks who moved on to the RealHardwareReviews Discord.

After socializing in the real world, then becoming accomplished, and then socializing in the real world again, I see no one likes accomplished people as they are suffering. They are suffering just to work and live and to grow if they can. They too are trying to grow and become accomplished trying to sort out life. After getting stereotyped so badly in public because I figured out life, I retreat to the Discord channel of RealHardwareReviews …

That is life I guess and it is normal. People from whatever walks of life will one day figure out life and become accomplished??? It took me 41 years.

Because I finally got into old range group of Vietnamese workers in Canada, I am finally a real middle-aged Vietnamese adult.

That means I am officially and uncle/chú.

In the back of my mind, running in the background was the thought of survival here in Canada.

Because I am an uncle/chú now working with older Vietnamese working thriving people in the West, everything I connect with and promote must be positive for growth.
