I started talking to Vietnamese from Vietnam after a few years and realized this …

• Back in 2021, they had a fixed view of the world
  • They had a fixed view of Canadians
  • Fixed view of Vietnamese born in Canada
  • They thought they knew it enough to make decisions after finishing school and dating and getting a nice job

…

But I am old as farts … so I accepted what they thought and looked towards Vietnamese born here in Canada to befriend. Then I met Tammy Nguyen and reconnected with Tony Tie.

After awhile, everyone realized the end is open ended when you do not date, do not marry, do not have kids yet, do not land the stable good job to start a family.

But all of us needed to understand both sides. One side to finish ‘young adulting’ and start a family while the other to see what they can do with this and that???

Now the babies of Vietnamese from Vietnam born in the West ‘understand, understand’ the trajectory as they are Canadian/North American born here.

But I was stuck … I am not a immigrant so I get tossed away to do this and that.

The employers like the immigrant mindset and attitude so they hire them.
