How was it living in Vietnam in 2015 – 2016?

When I went back home to work and live, Vietnamese welcomed me.

The secret was this …

The owner and operator of the English Language school understood my problem 1000% percent as she was an International student in the UK for about 5 – 6 years.

She could see my heart.

She could understand what I have been through in my 33 years in 2016.

What did I learn now from that experience?

There are really different ways to view the world. Vietnam is actually an OK place to live.

Yes, there are problems with different people but generally everyone gets along and its livable.

The people that want to move away from Vietnam do and don’t understand what happens when you move to the Americas. They are in for a big surprise. Or not?

And the dynamics and changes that have accumulated since 2015 have been life changing.

Vietnam even in 2021 according to my cousin Quoc Vinh and Tam was a nice place to live.

What life teaches you when you get 35 here in the West …

When I turned 30 it was odd. I knew I could not act young no more. I went to Vietnam to work …

When I returned from Vietnam and went to work at 33 in 2016, I learned the most crucial life lesson of all. I was working in the largest supermarket nights doing produce. The managers there taught me this. Working hardest/hard making things the most efficient was the way of the world. When I was working produce in 2006 nights I worked hard but I did not have that broad world understanding how things are which is penny pinching.

After I learned that I never really talked to anyone younger than me for advice or would not take advice from my cousins in Vietnam again. The West is primarily a fast robust efficient machine to make money. You supply the demand.

At 35, I realized no one cares about me. I went solo.
