Updates (Oct 4, 2025)

I have been resting and reflecting …

You are supposed to do stuff that makes you go at 40+.

I tried to do other work then it failed.

The Western lifestyle is what makes people born here in the West I think.

I am trying to do other things but I am not motivated.

I have to do stuff the drives me.

Then that makes life interesting.

It makes life interesting here in the West.

It makes living in the West interesting.

I was talking to my dad about my mom making moon cakes.

Then I grew up while talking to my father and realized helping my mom out allows her to do stuff. I finally realized after growing up, that it is not about the money and time and materials, it is about keeping busy and learning now.

My dad finally saw that I grew up and am keeping busy.

That is the key to life … I grew up with my friends and left the sphere where I am doubtful and scared. I am just doing stuff to keep busy because I finally developed my mind with my friends and doing work.

There are things about growing up you realize that in Canada, you really shouldn’t bother talking to younger people than you.

Younger people always think 99.999999999% they know more than older people.

I listened to my older cousin Lộc from my mother’s side and older cousin-in-law Khanh who is married to my cousin on my father side and they told me simply you just have to press on and keep busy.

Younger people just react negative. They simply think that they are right and things should be done their way 1000%. Everything starts and stops with them.

My younger cousins don’t understand life of older people like Lộc and Khanh.

If older people stop then who will teach the younger people? Who will teach the younger people to press on and simply live, work and have a family and repeat?

People born in Canada just simply read and keep busy drinking sugary coffee (regular/double double) and eating donuts really I think LOL!

All immigrants by year 8 – 10 in this country do the same and try to save every nickel by buying food at discount grocery stores. Sometimes splurging on some name brand food item to keep their Canadian born kids happy.

Cycle continues.

Do kids born in Canada from immigrants and refugees actually bother with world events?

I finally met Vietnamese born in Canada like Tony Tie’s family and Tammy Nguyen.

What did I learn? Well we are supposed to keep busy doing our thing to keep ourselves well. What is life for children of immigrants?
