Updates (Sept 12, 2025)

I took a taxi yesterday.

The driver was older than me with lots of white hairs and had more problems than me … I think.

He taught me the lesson of life in the West …

At a certain age and level of knowledge and experience as a coloured person, you are just fighting to live everyday as it gets tiring. Nothing is that really surprising probably at 50 years old …

His people came here centuries before Vietnamese in abundance.

I moved to Oshawa with my family back in 2008.

It was a struggle to adapt to be like the hardworking people here.

Struggling to keep up was the thing for good health and growth.

The trick I found in overcoming racism I experience was to …

Because I was born in North America, the idea of race is at the forefront of every interaction mostly.

Recently, I experienced the most racist things in my life while walking around doing my errands.

I realized because I went full throttle working with my team but also soloing focusing on myself doing my ‘solo’ projects I grew a little. I grew unique and that is what cause disruptions.

People expect people to be the stereotypes they often hear about in the news at 6:00 PM or in newspapers.

When you go solo working on yourself for 4 years you change and vibrate differently from the stereotypes. You become unique basically at a sizable tangent that causes disruption.

People get angry when you don’t fit the stereotypical box from the 1600’s when Colombus sailed.

For them to make you small (and for them to feel good) they would also have to work about ~4 years too solo doing their own thing.

So after meeting you, they do work on themselves subconsciously in the back.

That is the circle of living ???

So the key thing, the takeaway, is to work solo doing your own thing for yourself really in the West …

People comply and just live their lives. Live and work in their groups mainly in the West. It is somewhat stagnant and somewhat moves forward … but mostly the same …

I did my thing because I just did and got tired not living for myself in the modern safe Western world.

Then I realized now most people like 95%+ sometimes just comply and live their ‘normal lives’ in the West.

Now I know how some people actually feel about me and my people after I did soloing. Just doing my errands in society at 41 I got the real deal.

For years I just worked and became compliant. I never lived for myself until I went back to school in 2020.

So is soloing a good thing?

Yes, in modern Western society, we need movement and growth or we regress.

People see you, you see people. You notice something different and grow.

Then life is not boring and you don’t get headaches. You don’t get sick sitting around doing nothing much.

If you sit around all day, you might just complain and rot. So do what you can and want soloing to make yourself feel good.
