Updates (June 24, 2025)
You have to address the groups or you won’t grow.
If you don’t state this or that and what you feel, you will never address the problems you see and grow from them.
…
So the thing is this.
In life it is absolutely correct to go so far in to maths that you code till to you get something far out there.
Then you can deal with everyone in any shape or form.
Even address Westerners and talk back and forth.
But it was going beyond the physical and going code to learn logic that I can do things later to talk to Westerners.
…
There is good life being Vietnamese.
Within the Vietnamese community there are good things.
But when you are 35+, not married and no kids and doing Western things, then life is somewhat cool.
But that doesn’t last once you go too far.
Then you do normal jobs and keep busy.
If you keep up with the coding and living so high level you go crazy as you want more and more. Then you try to think bigger than Ben Cybulski and that is “Oh no!”. Then you get stuck in your room all day. And you keep working all day. And your health worsens and you get heavy as you try to get more dopamine doing things and trying to up your previous projects and ideas.
But secretly and knowingly, you still have to keep up with coding so you have an edge and can talk to people.
But not really code, code but learn to think big and beyond with coding logic in mind to build up your mind to make sense of everything and level up all the time. More maths, more logic, more code.
You don’t go about building more software as that point it become bad. You don’t want to put people out of work.
…
Life is good working with my dad. Keeps me busy and pretty alert. Any more or less doesn’t matter. This work is fair.
I think I fit this job naturally.
I learned to code and can handle all problems at the family business now.
…
I realized that kids born in Canada are kind of lazy. It depends on the person and their needs. Everyone want to get along when they are born here and don’t really want things to change. Most kids born here end up doing service jobs and live in apartments. Most of these kids understand the whole system at birth and don’t bother trying more as everything is created already for a good life. Like there are social supports like welfare, free health care and other things. But the thing is to get along with everyone and enjoy everyone.
That is why I found it odd when I went to Scarborough to learn healthcare and saw immigrants trying their best and saw racism. Mostly the immigrants were trying to outdo other groups.
Like I was lazy and just wanted a A- mark in healthcare for my health and possible future endeavors. But some groups aimed for the top.
So that is the thing about life. Some immigrant groups have no social supports in their home country and must fight to survive. While Canadians either work at service jobs or try to compete with immigrants for the same jobs. It all depends on needs really.
Most Canadians resort to doing service and trade jobs from the start.
So I am looking at myself who tried hard since 2020 and realize I still have the lazy part in my mind because I was born in Canada with the supports. In the back of my mind wanting to just get along with everyone and do service jobs. I don’t want to compete with immigrants for that CEO or professional position … because I don’t deserve it. I am born Canadian and don’t care to live in an apartment and work OK jobs and get along with everyone.
That is the dilemma now.
But if I never strived to go so far into coding … I won’t appreciate anything or anything I said earlier.
So you do have to grow and do more in life regardless of whether you are born in Canada or not just to have appreciation which is good health.
But the thing is this. Vietnamese women born in Canada understand what I feel naturally with everything in documented in this blog and the other websites.
Vietnamese from Vietnam think it is great and I want more of this. They ask: Where is the money in what you are doing? Where is the accolades? That drives me crazy with Vietnamese from Vietnam. Basically I lived a Canadian/Western born Vietnamese life and only Vietnamese born in Canada understand my life path and don’t criticize anything and don’t bother me.
My life was a Vietnamese man born in Canada and I had to do things to prove myself that I had a mind of my own instead of just chasing professional careers and kissing ass. I am not like the other Asians or other groups. At 35+ I had to address the actual problems I had individually and try to solve them or else feel like I am in a cage. Then I could talk back and forth with Westerners as I had a unique struggle of overcoming negative caricature Western stereotypes being born here. And it worked. Everything just took time in safe Canada. Trying to prove you have a mind that can debate and stand on its own overcoming general stereotypes.
But Vietnamese from Vietnam ask: Where is the money, 3 car house with pool and SUV on top of what you trying to do? They ask you should have X, Y and Z too. To do what I did took comfortable lazily decades like other Westerners to prove/correct something. That is the fun enjoyment the Western way and also I am a guy. As a guy I do what I want until I feel ready. If there is any push that is against the grain, it doesn’t work.
…
The thing is this. The West is already developed 70 years ago. All the coding you see out there are just copies of code written from a person in the 1960-70s.
To go about doing more is to be creative and address modern issues seen today. That means doing your thing you like as you are unique and have problems as a coloured person. That is all it is really. You address what you find troubling or things you want to see on the market.
…
Tammy Nguyen (a Vietnamese born in Canada) pushed me this far. I had to prove to her and talk about issues that I faced.
Other groups don’t see what I go through daily.
If I did not strive to do what I wanted and to prove, then I would be laying in bed sick thinking the issues I faced were emotional and my problem.
That is why Vietnamese born in the West really understand the value of doing your own thing regardless of professional or money status.
…
Instead of getting hurt and feeling bullied by other groups, the solution was coding so far that racism is non-logical. Coding and maths solves all racist problems. The more logical and the more problem solving you can do, you get away from racist treatment.
That is why I can not get along with some people. The smartest Westerners are top logical. They solve everything from a broad logical perspective at the end.
With coding that is the extra step to doing things and getting along. The top coders get the final answer.
…
The cool thing about the Vietnamese negative stereotype caricature … you bypass them if you give yourself time.
The general one is that Vietnamese are brown people who are majority farmers during the Vietnam War. A modern one is that Vietnamese are jungle Asians.
But when you get old like 35+ it doesn’t bother me as you have to live, live and strive to overcome just life. You then excel if you did not start a family yet and did not settle for a job, job.
As a man this is easy to decline stuff as life in Canada as life is hard to understand before 40 years old.
…
So life is just a circular repeated journey following in the footsteps of your parents/aunts/uncles. Your parents wait around for you to grow and socialize and ‘bond’ with your peers.
In the mean time, people are fighting and doing out of this world stuff until they one day become parents themselves.
This is what you learn from allowing yourself to get old and striving for the things you want in life. If I never grew up my skills I would think bad all the time and sick.
…
The thing about being Vietnamese.
I think there is a special part of the mind and soul where you are proud to be Vietnamese regardless of whatever people say.
There is a lot to say negative about Vietnamese people.
But we are here for a reason.
We are an independent nation.
That takes a lot of thinking and patience to deal with everyone.
But does this matter when you get married? No.
You got to think open and universal.
But if I did not do the things I wanted to prove myself. I could not come to this conclusion.
So it is good to be proud of your heritage when you are young born here in Canada.
…
The cool thing about Vietnamese food.
It is pretty unique. You can see and taste how independent the food is.
…
There is a thing about being Vietnamese …
On the good part, Vietnamese like me are neutral and support Canada when we are born here.
It is good.
I can see other Vietnamese born in Canada think exactly like me.
There are a few.
And it is surreal when I see another Vietnamese think like me. They stare through my soul.

I also learned that the girlfriend/wife that likes you, will never ask for anything. Both just sync.
