Updates (March 18, 2025)
If I listen to everyone and everyones negative thinking, I can not do anything at all.
I finally realize that now.
All I can do is zone out doing my thing.

This is probably the most the way for most average programmers who want to work new. It took Chris Sean (below video) 8 years to work good doing this web development work I think. He was homeless before.
This is what my parents and other non-tech people don’t know. It takes 8 years on average??? to become this good. I started in 2017 but really started last year in 2024 after finishing school in Winter 2023.
School was only 0.001% of what is out there in the real world.
It is nice to see that amount of USD $$$ he is making now.
He is so realistic and down to earth.
Good thing the YouTube algorithm found this guy in my suggestions. I guess the big internet giants aren’t as bad as you think trying to see dopamine fixes to sedate you on the YouTube homepage. There are actual people looking for work and improving themselves on the web/YouTube showcasing it to users.

There is a the thing about technology once you have done something and done school …
I worked on projects with Ben and Dmitry for 2 years after school.
I refactored our products again and again.
Life and daily life became a cycle of learning more logic and structure and efficiency month after month.
No complaints just growth.
That is the difference. Everyday is room to grow with programming because you are building better efficient structures.
It has already been written according to https://www.youtube.com/@DevToolsMadeSimple since the 1970s but to learn it takes time and trial and error working on projects you like and projects you have to write???

Trying to web develop is hard. It is not fun. But that is what most people need in this world.
Every business wants a website to sell locally and internationally. Lots of people are business minded and want to setup shop to do their dreams and sell.
As a web developer you must use the most stable technologies and keep it secure. And nothing is 100% stable or 100% secure.
That is the tiring thing about web development. But also it might be the most growth, heavily stressful and most gains.

The thing with LeetCode and degrees is that it is all good.
I have not completed a whole degree in computers or tried LeetCode because I am deeply entrenched in my group projects.
I guess this is the way or the old man’s way of life as I have done enough maybe to understand that growth is the things you are interested in that is unique.

The cool thing about web development or maybe programming in general is that it spans and reaches out everywhere.
You are not stuck or thinking idle.
The amount of areas you can touch becomes everything.
You conversations don’t run dry.

I learned dual lives …
- I used to live doing graphic design and some general publishing. That got me sick and tired and stressed. Working retail got me stressed and lost in the job. Similar to the graphic design and publishing
- But programming and doing my group projects made me feel alive.
I learned the secret to living good daily. Everyday. It is to be logical and creative and abstract.

Living in my culture and with other Vietnamese born in Canada was good and perfect as it can be. But conversations can run dry when you are young and below 40 years old.
Before 40 years old, you are still learning and researching for the most part. Beyond 40 is when you actually do something maybe.
I always kind of knew my way of doing things was going to feel good and work out.
It was not the 9-5 and working healthcare that would give me health and good feels.
Not the stereotypical way most Asians live born in Canada …
I fight my elders on the way I want to live here in Canada.
But all I know for awhile is that it is web development making staple websites for companies and doing your own thing.
I also learned that it is constantly working and being busy. Being constantly busy watching the clock and others so you don’t get left behind a bit.
