Updates (December 25, 2024)

Vietnamese born in the West do seek to learn “Vietnameseness” in every form. They do this constantly I think because they are missing the feeling of being someone solid in the West. We mentally and physically are different from others.

I am seeing other Vietnamese born in the West socialize in their groups still after school and work. I guess how polarizing the world is really does affect how you think and live.

I am really realizing this now:

  • You got to take action. Be on the constant move to free yourself from any doubt or negativity.
  • You got to believe in yourself. That is all you have in life at the end.
  • You got to outsmart illness and disease. Being smart is the answer to every worry I think. Being able to learn and look at things logically and from afar is what is health. You got to be 2-3x smarter than you were before to outsmart any problem you have whether mental or physical.

How much smarts can you have until nothing really bothers you? How much from working with Ben can you learn until you are unbothered like him?

You are supposed to study and be beyond yourself and get mature, mature that general stereotypes can not apply. You are supposed to be smart enough that you can brush negative stereotypes away and look at them as whatever and meaningless. When you are old and your life is abundant and useful then you don’t have to worry about anything.

Life is pretty much the same for everyone. Everyone is at different levels of maturity. Each growing wiser and nicer hopefully. What I am experiencing is normal I see. People are growing up and hopefully making room and adjusting for everyone. There will be squabbles, but that is just adjustments.

… people are not happy when you don’t fit their mold/box of a typical stereotype. That is all. So you got to maneuver a way to grow beyond all expectations to self develop and live.

At the end of the day when you really focus on life here in the West, it is to live very individualistic living and doing things all alone like the people of the past (explorers and thinkers). If you find negative push back, that is normal. You can avoid them easily here in Canada and find and just work with like minded people and nicer people to give you elbow room to really explore and think. Nicer and similar people will give you a platform to play, think and do. You push and just do what you want at the end anyways. In Canada, this is normal. Everyone here is given the chance to play, think and do. It is normal for most people to say negative things because they have boxes to put you in. And if someone puts you in a box, just jump out of it and walk away and do your own thing here in Canada. No one can really live in a box. You need to self-develop and that requires immense learning and doing outside people.

After socializing and being out in the world for a year or so … it is truer I see now, I only have a few people that I can really work with for real growth and development.

I realize after socializing a lot and posting, it is the introverts coding away for 18 hours a day that have a good life making money and doing things. It took me awhile to understand that. I needed to socialize and experience life to understand the inside your house in your room programming is the way for the best life in the West. After understanding the generalities of life outside then you understand this. I am lucky to have experienced this and understand this now.

I guess this comes as normal when you start a thinking job/career and mature to thinking work.

There are 2 types of people out in the world. The people present with other people and the ones in their own world really. In the West, most ‘Canadians’ are in their house doing something different and for themselves and that is incredible.

How to get their is good social networks that are smart and strong.

The more I work on projects like Sophia, I realize everything can be done and manipulated on the computer, even through PowerShell scripting. That is so cool. The more you do the more your mind expands and can play and interact and have the space and abundance to think and do. Massive structured space to really tinker and play.

How much important is growth? It is life to grow.

I guess I can relax a bit and take life day by day now.

That is what I learned from people who are in higher education. They take life day by day and live in the present.
