Updates (December 18, 2024)

After socializing with my Vietnamese friend raised in Canada, I finally realized these points in life:

  • To get a ‘slice’, you study and improve yourself in all things. This will get you healthy, strong and confident.
  • Life is constant learning and growing. You try to be a little proactive really.
  • Life is just specialization. That is all a man needs. You will develop something unique and good to add to the pool if you continue and continue. This will be your shining light.
  • Ignore all the negativity. I used to get bothered by negativity from others and realize after socializing with my Vietnamese born in Canada, the negative projectors just feel bad.
  • You have to have the foundation and basis to compare and reflect from when you are not sure. That means to focus on the Vietnamese born in Canada. We have a viewpoint and perspective so we can live and grow somehow and somewhere.
  • Also you have to care, care and care a lot and be safe. You actually have to protect yourself from being reckless to maintain that curiosity and hope in life.
  • Who you are is at rest ground zero state. It is what do you do on your free and spare time. Don’t let people affect you.

Kind of a unique thing I got going on. I am 40 years old, studied for the last 40 years slowly. Finally got accomplished working with the great Ben Cybulski. After, finally socialized with Vietnamese born in Canada in 2021 because I finally felt confident. Finally in 2024 socialized with Vietnamese raised in Canada my age and see the big picture. I see what life is like for Vietnamese born in Canada now from the middle-age to old perspective. It is pretty hard but isn’t depending how you view life here in Canada.

What I realize is that I did something good and new. My journey was driven by my goals. My goal deep down was to explore really. Then I met Ben Cybulski and he does these amazing unlimited innovations.

It is pretty much that.

Also I knew deep down inside since kindergarten that I was alone in this world and had the amazing and unlimited opportunity to explore here in Canada.

If you maintain a good relationship with yourself and others, you can work and study forever. Being reckless will breed more reckless behaviour.

Life can go 2 ways I see now for an Asian man like me from now on.

  1. Work and get along with society and conform. Do some service job.
  2. Keep getting educated and try to do things with the computer. This is the most rewarding thing in the world. I do like my health, confidence and smart thinking. Other people in and from Canada also do the same. This is the most fun and safest route that will maintain you in a good way.

Life is to be proud too but at the end of 4 decades it is kind of a mix. Mostly striving though.

Some people who have lived in Canada for a long time think it is just following routine.

I am not 100% sure, but the projects I am associated with are really out there thanks to Ben. All Ben’s ideas.

I am doing some fun stuff and still updating the projects.

It takes a lot of effort and thinking. And is always in the back of my mind to update or maybe improve things … improve and improve.

It has also gotten to the point where I don’t see another way or even a way down. It is fun being here doing this.

It is taxing stuff.

Because I am in this game working on projects with Ben, it keeps me in the loop.

My mind is fixed and attached to these projects. Because these projects are different, it is so out there and attaching.

Is this life? Is this what people get to? Is this what people want? Is this a need?

The only thing that I am missing from my list of skills is more structure. Like more levels. Just build things. More complex things. You need that.

At this point in time there is little room for cleverness and other type of behaviour. It is the challenge to improve the projects or make more projects.

After working with Ben for 7 years, nothing else for work seems fun …

That is the problem. There is no other work I want to do. Nothing else seems interesting enough.
