Updates (August 20, 2024)
I have an OK life here in Canada. I am so lucky to have an life here in Canada.
Things that I have learned and revisited:
- I am Vietnamese from boat refugees. There are people that have everything. I am a guy that wants to get everything and give everything back. I am lacking.
- If I don’t intentionally create my own future, my mind will re-create whatever I got to used to seeing in my past. That means I have to actively do programming and program things that I like and want and feel good about to have a good future of new things.
- At the end I have nothing. The more I revisit studying, school and the knowledge of the world, there is always more to learn. 100x more than I thought previously. This feeling and understanding is humbling.
- I went to college yesterday and tried to think and get into the minds of others to see what is going on. I realized I need to learn more but also just do my own thing. Mostly do my own thing. But seeing stellar students studying and working makes me want to get more active and involved in everything going around. That is tiring but no one wants to get left behind. Just keep being more active in the back of your mind to prepare and grow.
I live in Canada so why not? As I get more life experiences and get older and grow, it is making sense just to do things that just have good value rather than seek the dollar.
