Vietnamese-Canadians born in GTA

So we grow up knowing we are Asian and not White at all.

The range is huge from Toronto to Durham Region how we affinity to Asians or Whites.

…

The ages 0 – 20 are simple in Canada. You are just an Asian generally and kind of secondary but included.

21 – 22 is 3rd year + of final years university in Toronto areas, personalization of friends and work and achievement are grown and exposed.

RACISM and fight for jobs and status for professional schools with the Chinese, Muslims and helpful whites in Toronto schools.

I did not do my passions or understand life and quit school basically in FREEDOM EXTERNAL CANADA???

‘They’ made me feel like an asshole and made me feel they needed the schooling and work in Toronto. They wanted me to work manual labour while they work in Toronto business high rises singing all sorts of pop music on weekends sky tops with bills and bills eating steak and lobster weekly and cool new fashion from the stars. I would cook and clean up at a midrate steak place in Durham working till 3AM – 4AM everyday. That is what was expected from me against my classmates here and immigrants. I would clean the toilets for my classmates visiting at the restaurant and refill the soap and paper. Gotcha.

So that is the problem with Vietnamese in Toronto. Being a dual axis-Dalit is not really considered a Dalit to the Chinese. They hate that you got something they don’t and tell you to leave school in Scarborough and leave Toronto.

The Matrix of Vietnamese in Toronto

TopicFace1-layer downThe core
Vietnamese born in Durham going to school in TorontoWow! A Durham Viet guy who kind of acts Durham in Scarborough??? That is so cool! Baseball, soccer, football detached homes with white picket fences and houses and houses. WOW! That is better than Scarborough apartments after apartmentsDo Durham people understand the racism in Toronto? It is all about race superficially. Vietnamese are considered ‘dark’ people. We don’t care if you are born in Oshawa as everyone think Scarboroughian in school and on the streets. When in Rome …Wow, they live and play and eat in Durham and get along with white people. But we don’t care we are the best multicultural people! We are the most diverse and loving people! We are Toronto! We are Scarborough! Right!?!?!? That is all life is about? Diversity? Different towns! China Town! India Town! Little Saigon! etc. Enjoy everyone’s culture!

What is life then? It is a combination of working together and cycling!

But things arise from multiculturalism and also polar areas! It is 50 : 50 and in between and the mingling.

People want to move to Durham but usually end up further West as going further West after schooling and graduate school is easier for balancing life and work and kids. We all end up in SoCal after 3 generations +. That is love and life.

But do Vietnamese understand that they are VERY MIXED PEOPLE from the South and can live anywhere around the world?!?!?!?! Who is mixed? Thank God for that or NOT?

…

So I have a passion of computers and the Toronto teachers say because you are Vietnamese genetically origin and normally Vietnamese stereotype are gang bangers, you don’t make sense and you think off from normal Vietnamese from Toronto who hustle and bang. We will teach you but whatever …

So basically I think like a Durham kid going to school in Toronto where Vietnamese are gang bangers. It doesn’t compute and not compatible.

So it is no ones fault.

…

I could not hang on the ethnocentric teaching and culture and left school in Scarborough.

Until I did computer technician work in Oshawa I could live well in Durham.

Found friends that had a similar frequency and did more stuff.

Programming came in Durham later. I had to change my thinking from Scarborough to Durham.

The point is that Toronto was Chinese and Durham is for Durham people.

No one helped me in Toronto to guide me as they wanted me dumb with a 2.16 GPA. I did not find a mentor in Toronto basically.

…

So Allan Michael Lane and Ben Cybulski and Simon Fisher and Dmitry Nefedov and Dmitry Demin and An Nguyen and An Loc and Tammy Nguyen and Tony Tie helped mentor me.

But now I need more help as the Wrapper for Sophia is removed from Sophia Projects and all I need to do now is independent passionate work solo?

I think you still need a overall mentor??? Especially in computer science! No one rides along in CS!
