Updates (Jan 26, 2026)

So life was just doing your thing with people who you feel comfortable with here in Canada.

People are pretty civil regardless of where ever you are in the world.

All it took for me to grow up was to befriend Tammy Nguyen and other Vietnamese born in Canada to grow from an angle that we all face.

We are at the end racialized to the point of no return here in the West.

We are ‘Vietnamese-Canadians’ with all the bad stereotypes from the 1800s and 1960s and 1990s at the end. We got to live with that and accept that. Leave yourself open to that so there is no problems at all. That is how 99.99999999% of how other’s view Vietnamese in general regardless of what generation they are in or where they are born.

I kind of accept that from growing up in Ajax and growing up in Scarborough.

So with other Vietnamese born in the GTA, as long as you process, grow and act on that ‘face’ then you can grow and develop to other things.

Must accept and stick together as things have changed for the better.

The thing with growing up with other Vietnamese born in Canada is that once you get past your degree/diploma, worked a bit, socialized a bit, then growing up more is interesting.

The cool thing about working on projects like Sophia …

It keeps going. Dmitry keeps at it.

His work ethic makes me think my work ethic is bad.

So alarming that I can not even fathom.
