To do computer coding and media arts is to complain and have dialogue.

If I was working 9 – 5, I would have no time to do anything but work and sleep. No time to think about culture and race. That is the thing with 9 – 5.

That is why it exists in North America so people don’t be critical about culture and race. But culture and race still exists as a positive and a negative. It makes people mix.

I am getting older but in front of the PC.

That means I have a tool to do lots of things but without the constant interaction in a company.

But also I live in Canada.

Things are slow and crawl but things do get done in time.

Is doing these things necessary because I am Vietnamese and feel the way I do? Is being Vietnamese at the bottom end of Eurasia make me this way and work?

That is the thing other people don’t understand. It is because I am Vietnamese outlier that we have ‘the pulse’ really.

Things after 35 years old was odd. We are mostly looking into the future.

I am like the first generation of Vietnamese born in the West after the Vietnam War 1979 Boat People era who took the first leap with my brother not caring about a routine job or a family of our own first.

Did we have to do this?

I understand women now …

The women of society, the pillars that work endlessly, have it.

Like everyone gets stressed.

But the women in charge understand what it takes and make the commitment to work this hard to maintain and have stability.

What does working with Westerners do and that is inputted back into the Vietnamese community?

I don’t really think about the aftermath of doing this.

I am stuck in Oshawa because man needs to work.

I have not found people to work with in Toronto solely. I need a mix of different people and locations to do the work I am doing.

I grew up in Ajax and briefly studied in Scarborough and moved back to Oshawa.

This mix of locations created this.
