The funny thing about life in Canada.
Do the concerns of Canadians matter?
With the amount of lumber, wheat fields and corn fields and cattle you can grow, what matters in Canada in terms of this and that?
…
Canada is a platform is to do stuff?
Canada allowed me go full throttle on my dreams as a Vietnamese born in Canada.
…
Was it necessary to go full throttle on my dreams?
Yes, as a 2nd generation Canadian, you must follow your dreams to the end of time here in Canada.
…
Because I was able to fix my trauma and stereotypes and do my dreams, I must support the underlying way of life of Canada.
But also see the other side of my parents who are immigrants.
The balance of immigrants and 2nd generation living in 158 years old Canada.
…
What is the purpose of life in North America?
My father told me again and again many, many times.
It is to have a child.
…
Once you have a child, the child knows from birth how the system is. The boys know how women are. The girls know how men are …
It is up to the child just to follow his good dreams in safe supportive Canada with supportive parents till the end of time.
The choices I make now will consider having children.
Everyone has a sense of dignity and self-respect. Therefore, everyone needs children of their own. Everyone is allowed that.
…
Branding, promotion and negative stereotypes.
The Vietnam War was a heavy one. It was 20 years long. Chemicals and mines are still around 50 years after the war.
Many, many movies were made based on the Vietnam War. Some telling their side, some telling both.
In 1998, David Nguyen earned a CompTIA A+ certificate at age 14 because he liked it and wanted it. He decided at age 14 to grow up and be a man. A CompTIA A+ license allowed him to make $30-$35 USD an hour maintaining and fixing PCs.
What happened since? So a brown Southeast Asian kid from Vietnamese Boat People Refugees trying to make it in the West earned some kind of college certificate at age 14 in the 1990s.
Is the certificate hard? Is it worthwhile to have? Does it mean anything.
CompTIA A+ certificate is the main entry into Information Technology in the West. Working at your local electronics chain requires A+ certificate for the PC repair position. The certificate is no longer lifelong. It must be updated every once in a while.
In 2002, David Nguyen pivoted to Life Sciences at one of the more known universities in Ontario and is recognized globally.
He started in 2002 and finished in 2009 (2010) with a double major degree in Integrative Biology and Biochemistry.
What came of it? He faced multiple angles.
In Ajax, people thought he had enough and stopped him from continuing anymore education.
In Oshawa, the frequency there made his IT certificates and degree mean absolutely nothing. People in Oshawa work and work to save every penny. You had to try the hardest. There is nothing else to life in Oshawa than working the hardest/hard really???
So David Nguyen has earned a CompTIA A+, 4-year degree and finally a college 2-year diploma.
Since 2020, he did more stuff with his friends and international friends from Oshawa.
What does that mean? The Oshawa frequency means you just work.
Everywhere West after Whitby is all about culturalism.
Out West, what I earned means branding, reversing stereotypes and promotion. But I live in Oshawa so I don’t pursue that.
Further out East, people stay at home doing what they like and are content living more Western quietly. Lots of people out in Montreal, Quebec are doing great innovative stuff in sciences and other areas.
But the real kicker is this … what do you really like to do and build for yourself after 35 years old?
There is frequency and different climates but what have you sat there and figured out for yourself?
What did you solve for ‘you’? What is the ‘trauma’ you faced and addressed?
…
The problem of living in Canada for full South Vietnamese people …
The degrading stereotypes people face because North America frequency makes fun of people that are not white.
How do you solve that for a Vietnamese born in the West?
You really can’t overall in North America but I kind of did. I developed software that address a problem and at its core it made people think twice about Vietnamese in general.
People think Vietnamese are backwards people. But when the software is mentioned like the Debloaters people try to dissect it to make it meaningless.
But is it?
At the basic foundation of the Debloaters, the software addresses removing bloatware, allowed for unlimited customization and easily editing the program.
But the wise people forget it was to address a problem I had. I wanted to educate people on programming.
Therefore the tool is more than a tool but an educational tool aid.
Now where does that land?
Then we can talk about tangents, goals, personal goals, addressing your trauma, addressing transcended life.
It is no longer practical. It is no longer about race or culture.
…
Some wise people say you must get involved in the cultures of the world that span the globe. All identities and conflicts to understand people, place and things.
I am born in Oshawa and raised partly in Ajax and spent some time in Scarborough.
That means I have to relocate to Toronto to address.
Who is currently paying my way of life?
If I move, who is paying for that relocation?
…
I act in a way that helps my family and others around. But I can do this because I live in Oshawa.
Therefore to have a family that likes me and takes into account me … which is working 90% of the time, is for my future family to live and grow in Oshawa.
…
Towards the West from Ajax onwards, I get emasculated with multiculturalism. But because I have the Oshawa working personality it is nulled. My goals helped but I did them for fun.
The funny thing with cultured people is that they think I outright created software with the whole idea and concept written down 2-3 years ago. I was creating and having fun like a Durham Region kid. I was thinking I was in grade 6 in Ajax.
That is why only certain people understand me and the whole case of doing this and that.
…
But does anyone understand anyone unless they live in the same house?
…
The thing with Oshawa and further East …
You are pressured to follow the ‘Struggling model minority way’.
You will get what you need in time and do the necessary good things.
Oshawa is too hard to screw up. Oshawa sets the model for work as it is GM country.
…
What happens after 3rd generation Vietnamese born in Canada?
My friends are usually immigrants and 2nd generation.
I need to find out what 3rd generation Vietnamese are doing.
…
My brother is still doing his arts.
Is it good?
He is getting stressed out like heck.
Is it good for a Vietnamese man born in Oshawa who was made in Malaysia?
Not sure.
I guess it is time to do coding to relax?
Complete projects like Word, Excel and even Debloaters are a good way to pass the time in the West healthy???
