| Understanding people besides just work | Is there life beyond work? I grew up in Ajax where work defined life. Was Scarborough more about living for yourself? |
| More culturally fun | Time to feast and take in all the cultures. A lot of ‘Country Towns’ and ‘Little Countries’. |
| Understand the stressors in Toronto that differ from Oshawa | What did Toronto offer that is different from Oshawa? There is a lot but then there isn’t? Experience the differences. Experience the differences in food and culture. When you get older … everyone experiences the same stressors. |
| More coloured? | No and Yes. You might be in Scarborough but the faculty is maybe from Whitby. You learn from Durham Region but the classmates are from Scarborough or commuters. |
| What do Scarborough people think of Durham Region? | It depends. |
